For The Stimulant Junkies Out There
Today, I'm going to share with you the 3 strongest pre-workout supplements that I have come across so far. These are NOT for beginners. They contain the highest caffeine content per scoop out of the many other supplements I've reviewed in the past. Here you'll find out how much caffeine each one has, and a bit more about what it can offer you. Lets take a closer look:
1. Friction | VPX Sports
VPX Sports took the bold approach with Friction. With a massive 375-400mg of caffeine per single scoop, it is the strongest pre-workout we've come across this far. If you can't feel this, you know its time to take a break from stimulants all together because you should feel a huge kick in energy and focus. Be sure your nearby the gym before you take this one - and do NOT take it too early or you won't be able to sit still (or sleep) for hours.
The major supporting ingredients they've thrown in the mix is a full 5 gram dose of Creatine Monohydrate for energy + strength. As well as 3.25 grams of Beta Alanine (that's the stuff that makes your skin tingle) to help delay your muscles getting tired out, and improving their endurance. Once again, I would not recommend this to someone just starting out with pre-workouts, but for the experienced stim lover - this could be what you're looking for.
2. Scream | Bodybuilding.com
Scream contains slightly less caffeine than Friction, but still enough that you should only ever need 1 scoop. It comes in at about 300mg per single scoop. From using Scream myself, I can tell you this stuff works. I'd feel almost instantly energized, focused, and motivated to hit the weights. It also includes some Taurine, Tyrosine, and Glucoronolactone to keep you mind on track when working out.

For the other main ingredients, they've included a 3 gram dose of Creapure Creatine, and 1.6 grams of Beta Alanine. Slightly less than Friction that we talked about above, but here is where Scream gets unique. They've included 8 grams of BCAA's, and L-Citrulline as well. These help to kick-start your recovery, growth, and improve your overall endurance as well.
3. HyperFX | BSN
From the makers of the legendary NO Xplode, comes Hyper FX. It comes in at about 270mg of caffeine per scoop. Slightly less than Scream, but is still to be taken seriously. By looking at the ingredients, it seems that Hyper FX is mainly designed with boosting your mental energy and focus. They include a number of other brain enhancing ingredients like Taurine, Choline Bitartrate, Bitter orange extract and more.
The key ingredients that support Hyper FX are Beta Alanine, and Betaine HCL - the dosages are hidden within a proprietary blend, so I can't say how much you're getting. One thing to note here is that HyperFX is Creatine free - so keep that in mind if you are looking to use Creatine in your routine.
